Legislative Chair: The PTA is still looking for someone to fill this important (yet super easy) job. This position requires you to be a voting member of the PTA board and to attend monthly board meetings.

Popcorn/Pepperoni Volunteers: The PTA sells popcorn and pepperoni to Soos Creek students and staff during lunch on the first Friday of every month.

| Book Fair: Twice a year the PTA sponsors a Book Fair by Scholastic. Volunteers are needed for the cash register, set-up and pack-up |

Reflections Committee: Each year, PTA’s around the country sponsor the Reflections program which challenges students to create art that supports a specific theme. This year’s theme is “Wow!”

Albertsons Cards/Box Tops/Safeway Escrip: Volunteers are needed to serve as contact persons for these great programs which donate money to our school. These tasks can easily be done from home and should not take a tremendous amount of time.

Secret Pal Commitee: This committee organizes the fun activity of matching parents to school staff for the purpose of serving as the staff member’s secret pal throughout the year. Volunteers are needed to help assist with delivering secret pal gifts and cards.

Skating Parties: The PTA hosts 4-5 skating parties each year. These events are always a hit with the kids. If you would like to help with cashiering, purchasing door prizes or supervising at the parties, we’d love to have you!

Drop-N-Shop Chair: The PTA would love to bring back Drop-N-Shops! We need some parents who are willing to organize 2-3 of these events this year where parents can drop their children off at the school for a date night or “parents night off.

Movie Nights: Movie Nights are another fun family night that we can use help with. Can you help organize a movie night at the school or help with cashiering or selling snacks?
